Why we love to teach martial arts: Hear from the instructors

There are many perks to getting to teach taekwondo, and all of the instructors of Seo's Martial Arts have their own reasons for their passion. Here is what they have to say...

"I love being able to teach because when I was a student, I remember taekwondo being the best part of my day. I could have the worst day of my life, but it didn't matter because I was going to get to go to taekwondo. I like knowing that I get the opportunity now to help make someone's day better. I want to change other people's lives through taekwondo like it changed mine!"

-Ashley Reyes: 3rd Degree Black Belt

"One of the reasons I love teaching is because I get to help young 3-6 year olds learn how to set goal and accomplish them. Seeing their faces light up when they finally break that board, win an award, or earn a new belt makes it all worth it."

-Stephanie Reyes: 2nd Degree Black Belt

"I like teaching because of the students and the people I get to meet! And knowing that we can teach them life values plus and awesome sport is really special."

-Gabby Rivera: 2nd Degree Black Belt

"I love knowing that to most of the students we come in contact with, both children and adults, will gain some type of confidence or life skill that they will hold on to forever. Also the parents of these kids are choosing us to trust in being a part of raising them to become great people, and that is such a blessing to me."

-Master Brayan: 4th Degree Black Belt

"I've been doing Taekwondo since I was a child (6) and seeing how much it has impacted me throughout various stages of my life while helping me stay healthy and fit is something I love to be able to help people of all ages achieve."

-Heather Cardona: 3rd Degree Black Belt

"I love teaching because not only does it give me the opportunity to express myself, it gives me the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of other and allows me to have a hand in the upbringing of the next generation."

-Cristian Perez: 3rd Degree Black Belt
